Why study a Bachelor of Communication and Media?
If you are passionate about effective communication and have a creative personality, and aspire to pursue a career in the creative media industry, UOW’s Bachelor of Communication and Media is for you.
UOW’s Bachelor of Communication and Media degree is an interdisciplinary degree that offers a broad introduction to the changing fields of communication and media. This degree has a strong international focus and places emphasis on students developing independent research skills that are appropriate to a wide range of professional settings. You will learn from experts in their fields who head international committees and edit journals that have a world-wide circulation, experts who are exploring socio-political issues in health, science and technology, law and the environment and who research the vibrancy of languages and cultural impact of the electronic culture.
In 2016, UOW has been ranked in the top 150 in the world for Communication and Media (QS World rankings by subject).
